Zaid Alkazemi started his business career at the age of 16, an enthusiastic, hard working and charismatic individual who truly believed that knowledge, together with determination, are the foundation of success.
His underprivileged upbringing never prevented him from seeking knowledge. He started by learning the principles of supply and demand, accounting and foreign languages (English, Perisan, and Hindi) through a small position in one of the local trading houses in Kuwait.
These small skills helped him to realize that an alternative source to local trade must be found. His analysis pushed him to travel to neighboring countries on an expendition that he would later live to thank God for.
When he returned to Kuwait, he convinced Haj Abdulrahman Albisher to open a commodity trading house. This venture was so successful that within 1 year he became a full partner. This unique partnership was the first step to the conglomerate known today by its two letter logo, short for (Abdulrahman Albisher & Zaid Alkazemi Co.), a proud seller and manufaturer of over 300 products.
Over the years his honesty, efficiency and artistry in trade won him the admiration and respect from one and all, which eventually led to his election to the Kuwaiti Parliament, Later in his life he opened, to the public in his house, the largest private library Kuwait had ever known. In this act he wanted to share with the public his secret of success..."Knowledge".
